That this House congratulates Glasgow Wood, based in the constituency of Glasgow West, on its 20th anniversary; recognises two decades of work as a charity and social enterprise supporting a healthier and more sustainable population and planet; celebrates Glasgow Wood’s commitment to caring for the planet by keeping reclaimed timber in circulation and diverting wood from landfill; commends its work creating sustainable living solutions by transforming reclaimed timber into furniture, products and bespoke projects; further recognises its provision of valuable training, volunteering and skills opportunities, helping to tackle unemployment and social exclusion while building confidence and resilience; further celebrates its contribution to strengthening local communities through community projects, supporting local businesses and creating spaces for people to connect; and thanks the staff, volunteers, partners and supporters of Glasgow Wood for their contribution over the past 20 years and wishes the organisation every success for the future.
