That this House recognises the significant contribution made by Bowers & Pitsea Football Club to local communities within South Basildon & East Thurrock; commends the club for providing sporting opportunities to local residents of all ages and backgrounds; acknowledges the positive role grassroots football clubs play in promoting physical health, mental wellbeing, social inclusion and community cohesion; pays tribute to the volunteers, coaches, staff and supporters whose dedication enables the club to thrive; notes the importance of community sport in fostering aspiration, teamwork and a sense of belonging; recognises the challenges faced by many grassroots sports organisations, including rising operating costs, increasing demand for facilities, and the ongoing need to maintain and improve community sporting infrastructure; and wishes Bowers & Pitsea Football Club every success in its future expansion endeavours and continued service to the community.
