That this House condemns the announcement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the Israel Defence Forces plan to seize control of 70% of the Gaza Strip; notes that this represents a clear violation of the October 2025 ceasefire agreement and a further escalation of Israel’s military occupation of Palestinian territory; further notes statements by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz advocating the so-called voluntary migration of Palestinians from Gaza, which would in practice amount to the forcible displacement of a population already subjected to war and siege; expresses grave concern that more than two million Palestinians could be confined to less than one third of Gaza’s territory, worsening already catastrophic humanitarian conditions; also notes reports that Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire through continued military attacks and territorial expansion, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians; reaffirms the right of Palestinians to remain on their land and live free from occupation and forced displacement; and calls on the Government to condemn these actions, support meaningful sanctions, end all military cooperation and arms exports to Israel, and work urgently with international partners to secure a permanent ceasefire, unrestricted humanitarian access and justice for the Palestinian people.
