Clydebank High School: UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Silver Award

That this House congratulates Clydebank High School on being awarded the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Silver Award; recognises that this achievement reflects the school’s strong commitment to embedding the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) across its culture, curriculum and daily practice; notes that the school was commended for its focus on wellbeing, participation, relationships and self esteem; further notes that this work has helped to create a safe, respectful and empowering environment in which young people feel valued and supported; acknowledges the school’s success in integrating children’s rights into teaching and learning through classroom discussions, assemblies and dedicated lessons that deepen pupils’ understanding of fairness and responsibility; recognises the dedication of teachers, support staff, pupils and families whose collective efforts made this achievement possible; and wishes Clydebank High School every success as it continues its journey towards achieving Gold status as a Rights Respecting School.
