That this House commends the brave actions of Cadet Lance Corporal Fleming of the Army Cadet Force in Kilmarnock following an emergency incident; recognises the pride this brings to Kilmarnock and Loudoun; further recognises that, at the scene, Cadet Lance Corporal Fleming acted with exceptional calm, maturity and presence of mind; notes that he assisted in guiding a member of the public through a 999 call, helped to ensure that accurate and timely information was communicated to emergency services, and supported safety at the scene until their arrival; acknowledges that his actions supported the provision of timely emergency care; highlights the vital role that organisations such as the Army Cadet Force play in developing life saving skills, leadership and resilience in young people; praises Cadet Lance Corporal Fleming, whose outstanding bravery is a credit to himself, his community, the Army Cadet Force and the values of public service; and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
