That this House celebrates the work of the Muslim Burial Council of Sylhet (MBCOS), a community-led initiative in Sylhet, Bangladesh, providing free Islamic burial services with dignity and compassion; notes that the project was inspired by the exemplary work of the Muslim Burial Council of Leicester; further notes that MBCOS operates a dedicated facility offering washing and shrouding, cold storage, portable cooling units and ambulance services at no cost to families; recognises that these services are delivered by trained male and female volunteers and funded entirely through donations; pays tribute to the Leicester Sylheti community whose vision, generosity and commitment helped bring this initiative to life; commends all those involved for providing comfort and dignity to families during their most difficult moments; and calls on the Government to recognise the outstanding contribution of MBCOS and the people of Sylhet in delivering a compassionate, faith-centred service that brings dignity, comfort and care to families at their most difficult time.
