That this House notes that the 2026 Parish Council Elections in Madeley, Newcastle-under-Lyme scheduled for 7 May 2026 were uncontested; acknowledges the work of all parish councillors who served in the previous term led by the Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr Stephenson and the Vice Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr Walley; recognises the varied and active issues of importance to local people in Madeley not least the fight to protect College Fields; congratulates Cllr Jamie Stephenson, Cllr Kimberley Walley, Cllr Tanya Morgan, Cllr Carol Phillips, Cllr Trevor Nicoll, Cllr Jill Whitmore, Cllr Dave Whitmore, Cllr Jennifer Jennings, Cllr Chris Hopkin, Cllr Andrew Collins, Cllr Cecelia Cahill, Cllr David Barnish and Cllr Kane Brookfield-Preston on their successful elections to Madeley Parish Council in the 2026 Parish Council Elections; and wishes them well for their time in office.
