That this House congratulates the Rotary Club of Chippenham and Calne on its service to the community since 1948; recognises its ongoing charitable and voluntary work, including raising in excess of £45,000 in 2026 for local and international causes; notes the wider contribution of Rotary as a global humanitarian organisation with 1.2 million members supporting education, health, peacebuilding and access to clean water; commends the Club’s annual Classic Car Run through the Wiltshire countryside, which this year supports The Rise Trust in its work with vulnerable children and young people in Wiltshire; further commends its charity golf day at Castle Combe in support of Julia’s House, which provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families; applauds the success of its pop-up charity shop, which since April 2025 has raised £28,000 to address local need and deprivation; and celebrates the work of Rotary clubs across Great Britain and Ireland.
