75th anniversary of Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster

That this House notes the 75th anniversary of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, founded in 1951 in Northern Ireland and now serving congregations across the United Kingdom and beyond; recognises the Church’s origins in Crossgar, County Down, and its continued presence throughout Northern Ireland, including its central role at Martyrs Memorial Church in Belfast; acknowledges the contribution the denomination has made to religious life, community engagement and charitable work over the past seventy-five years; further notes the Church’s commitment to preaching, missionary activity and community outreach; and congratulates the ministers, congregations and wider membership of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster on this milestone anniversary, wishing them well as they continue their work serving communities across Northern Ireland and further afield.
