Papur y Bobl, Rhostryfan community newspaper

That this House warmly congratulates 13-year-old cousins Celyn and Caio on the creation of Papur y Bobl, a new community newspaper serving the village of Rhostryfan in Gwynedd; notes that this initiative by the Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen pupils demonstrates exceptional commitment to local journalism, cultural expression, and civic participation; recognises the importance of community rooted media in strengthening the Welsh language, preserving local stories, and amplifying the voices of residents; acknowledges that Papur y Bobl is distributed weekly to over 40 households in Rhostryfan with Celyn responsible for collating the news and Caio responsible for the digital side of the work; commends the dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit shown by Celyn and Caio in delivering a publication shaped by the community and for the community; and calls on the Government to acknowledge the immeasurable contribution of papurau bro (community newspapers) across Dwyfor Meirionnydd in enriching local democracy and the unique identities of Welsh communities.
