That this House marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion in Dromore in Lagan Valley; recognises the proud history of the Dromore Branch of the Royal British Legion, first formed in 1925, folding in the late 1970s and later reforming in December 1998 and going from strength to strength ever since; commends the dedication and commitment of the Branch and its volunteers, who play a vital role in fostering community through Remembrance and local events while remaining a trusted source of support for Veterans, their families and those in need; and pays tribute to a century of Remembrance, service and community spirit embodied by the Dromore Branch of the Royal British Legion.
