Curriculum for Excellence top performing primary schools in Scotland

That this House commends Scotstoun Primary School and Hyndland Primary School in Glasgow West on being ranked in the top twenty-five performing primary schools in Scotland; understands that primary schools in Scotland have been ranked based on the most recent Achievement in Curriculum for Excellence data, highlighting the primary schools that have consistently recorded high levels of student achievement; recognises that the schools were ranked on four key areas – reading, writing, numeracy, and listening and talking – and given a score out of four hundred based on the pupils performance in each area; notes that these schools were two of three from Glasgow that featured in the top twenty-five across the whole of Scotland, with Scotstoun Primary School ranked eighth and Hyndland Primary School ranked twentieth; congratulates all the staff, pupils and the whole school communities of Scotstoun and Hyndland Primary Schools on this impressive achievement, which recognises their hard work, dedication, and academic achievements; and wishes both schools continued success in the future.
