Waringstown Women’s Institute 70th anniversary

That this House congratulates Waringstown Women’s Institute on the occasion of its 70th anniversary; recognises the Institute’s longstanding and deeply valued contribution to the social fabric of Waringstown village and the surrounding area, where its members have championed friendship, mutual support and community spirit; acknowledges the vital role the Institute plays in tackling social isolation, fostering inclusion and strengthening wellbeing through educational programmes, social activities and collective endeavour, providing a welcoming environment for women of all ages and backgrounds; commends the Institute’s dedication to promoting skills, confidence and community engagement in line with the mission of the Federation of Women’s Institutes of Northern Ireland, one of the largest inclusive social organisations for women in the region; further acknowledges the commitment and voluntary service of past and present members which has sustained the Institute through seven decades of community life; celebrates this important milestone and the enduring legacy of service, fellowship and empowerment at the heart of Waringstown; and wishes Waringstown Women’s Institute every success as it continues to enrich village life for many years to come.
