Reports of UK funding of Ethiopian tax collectors

That this House notes with deep concern recent reports in The Telegraph that £20 million of British taxpayers’ money has been used to train tax collectors in Ethiopia; expresses its dismay that such funding was approved; and urges the Government to undertake an urgent review of all overseas funding allocations to prevent further irresponsible and unjustifiable use of taxpayers’ money.
