Ruby Henderson and the Taekwondo World Championships

That this House congratulates 14-year-old Ruby Henderson of Sauchie on her selection to represent Scotland at the Taekwondo World Championships in Porec, Croatia from 7 to 11 October; recognises her achievement at the European Championships in Sarajevo, where she won silver and bronze medals and was part of the first Scottish girls’ sparring team to reach that level; pays tribute to her commitment as a black belt and two-time Scottish champion who trains daily at the Scottish Martial Arts Centre in Tullibody; and wishes her every success as she competes on the world stage.
